I am a saggitarius, and just separated from my cancerian girlfriend(seemed like a good idea at the time), my question is, what signs are more compatible to me......
thanks and blessed be!

Well initially the other fire signs would be MOST compatible but it all depends on other aspects of your chart such as the planetary placements, rising sign, moon sign, etc. The two other fire signs (other than sag) are Aries and Leo. Fire usually gets along well with air and earth signs too.

Everyone's chart is unique and there's so much more than just the sun sign. It would probably best to do a compatibility chart to really know.

You Leos would like to think that, wouldn't you? :p

Speaking compatibility-wise, I'm a Scorpio, and I've found my best match among sun signs is Taurus. Taurus girls just have something about them ... I don't know what it is, exactly, but I love it. :D I have to stay away from other Scorpios, though; Aries are good in bed but a pain in the ass anywhere else.

So I guess my advice to the OP would be, see if you're compatible with a Gemini partner. But remember that any relationship depends on open communication and trust -- if you don't have that, no relationship is going to work.

I'm not too surprised, actually. My mother was a Leo/Cancer cusp, and we hardly ever got along. And while I have some Cancer friends, I could never imagine being in a relationship with one.

Actually, I do. :D I'm almost equal parts Scorpio and Sagittarius -- sun, Mercury and Mars in Scorpio (and Uranus, depending on which ephemeris you look at), Venus and Neptune in Sag.

I know what you mean about scorpio staying away from other scorpios. I dated one and he drove me crazy and not in a good way. Well.....yeah he did drive me crazy in good way too...he was AMAZING to say the least. ;) but I'm talking about my mental state. He would call me every few minutes questioning where I was, who I was with, what am I wearing...etc. He got to the point to where he didn't want me working anywhere because I may have to be around a male and he didn't want my family anywhere near me. He was insanely jealous to say the least!

I always end up being attracted to Taurus as well...must be that opposites attract thing going on. But by far the sign I find I'm most drawn to are Pisces. They just have that certain something that draws me in like no other. :cutie:

I love my combination mix. Me and love fit so perfectly, I am a cancer and lover is an aries. Perfect combo and we balance so well, were complete opposites and yet we compliment one another so well. From the first day we met it was attraction physcially mentally the whole bit. Yet we argue and disagree so much but because we love being with one another we both blend for the others sake.
I have dated so many different signs i never met one i was so compatible with. Thou I always attract geminis and scorpios and leos *grin:cutie:

Geminis have issues with commitment and faithfulness.

Married one... And I'm a Virgo. His GF is a Pisces. She and I are opposites on the wheel, and he's smack right in the middle of us... And he wonders why he can't decide...

It's that twin nature, isn't it? :) Though to be fair, Sagittarii can have that problem, too.

Um... she doesn't exactly know  I keep telling him that he needs to tell her, but he's paranoid, because she said she'd take the baby and disappear if he pissed her off...

He and I had an open marriage. In fact, for awhile, she was my girlfriend too. But she was just using me to get him, and when she got pregnant, no longer saw the need to continue any relationship with me. At least that's how I see it. He won't see it that way, and is trying to get me and her to get along. I'm trying that too, but, well, she hasn't exactly been responsive. Because she thinks that he's being a good boy now.

I was deeply in love with another Capricorn, and it worked really well for a long time in terms of ambition, but went to hell when he got a little higher up the mountain than I and decided he could climb better by cutting me out. His drive was very attractive, but it's also what ended our relationship.

I don't know what his ascendant was. But he was on a lifetime climb. I do know even now that attracts me like a moth to a flame. I want it. But I needed to come home everynight, and he never wanted to leave the mountain. He cared more about his climbing gear, and behind the scenes, he was already scheming. He had a charming smile, but eventually he was planning to cut my rope even as he smiled at me. Maybe he wasn't trying to be hurtful, but it ended up that way, because he was so driven to climb. We were both so driven, who had the time to nurture eachother?

I dated a Sagittarius and wow, he was exciting. But not long-term. It was very good for awhile, but I think we were both running opposite ways. I loved the excitement, and his vibrance. I am very attracted to that. But we never would've compromised, we were both too strong-headed.

Now I'm with an Aquarius, and this is the longest relationship either of us have been in. It drives me batshit crazy, absolutely. I wouldn't do it on purpose. His Aquarius nature grates my Capricornian motivations in a lot of way. Yet I just told him the other night, he's like extra brain for me - he's so good at listening as I process my thoughts verbally, reorganizing, rearranging, and reconsidering them, so I can think them through in new ways or differently. He complements me instead of matching me. He's my home, my safety, and while I don't need to chase him, it isn't passionate nor fiery, it's a slow burn that I will always nestle into.

Cancers are supposed to be great for me, and while I have had some really strong Cancer friendships, they inevitably grate on my nerves too much and one or the other of us cuts it off.

Point is, if you stick to compatible sun signs, you're not going to get it right that way either. I would not have chosen Aquarius. I would've gone with Capricorn, Sagittarius, or even Cancer for a complement rather than a match. But that didn't work.

So there are way more variables there then sun sign.

Bah, I'm a Cancer who was always attracted to Gemini and yeah that pretty much wasn't always a good idea. =P

The last one I was with, we stuck together for 7 years and it was nothing but him seeking attention from me in negative ways like pissing me off cuz I guess he liked it when i was angry or something. Haha I have no idea, but me and him don't work I guess.

Now there's this Pisces that's entered my life...and its just totally weird. From what I read about sun sign compatbility we could work, but who knows?

I'm a Virgo, with one Leo and mom to another. :hairred: AKA masochist.

But I love 'em...the sheer despotism...belief in their own divinity...FIERY soul...the way they light up a room...

Being one of the more easygoing Virgos helps, I suppose, but they still are irritating...because I'M the one who's always right! :toofless:

Oh yeah...and they have no concept of personal space.

I've found that there are both good and bad traits to each and every sign. We have to take the bad with the good and really it's all about personal preferance.

Say, for instance, a Gemini~ They drive me batty because they're too flirty and I find them to be indecisive for my taste BUT at the same time they are the life of the party. They really know how to make me laugh even when I don't want to.

Another sign I really, really have a hard time getting along with is an aquarius but I do respect their rebellious nature. They are very unique and I love how they think outside the box so to speak.

I myself am a Sagittarius born on the Capricorn cusp... sort of opposing things there. I have not been out with anyone, though Gemini's seem to show quite an affinity for me. The only signs I don't particularly click with are Aries and Capricorn (both of which happen to be the signs of my parents, unsurprisingly).

In my experience, Aries people get very angry and shout a lot and do things without thinking of the consequences, and I get landed with the results of that. I've had enough years of tolerating that stress-inducing behaviour. :( On the bright side, they tend to be youthful and entertaining. Capricorns are okay, dry-witted, and tend to be somewhat cool. The main problem I have with them though, is that they almost always end up stabbing me in the back for some reason... probably because they're in my 12th house (I have Aquarius rising). It's a shame, really. :hrmm:

As for other signs and my experiences with them...

Taurus: I don't know much about them. One I met was a lunatic who acted more like an Aquarius (they actually lied and told me they were that initially). The few others I have met have generally been lazy and self-centred.
Gemini: Great, fun-loving, and they seem to like me a lot. I have a bunch of them as friends online, and they're the only sign that's repeatedly shown attraction towards me. Some of them have been quite deceptive and manipulative though, so I am well aware of the darker side.
Cancer: If I had to say which sign was the most 'normal/vanilla' sign, and the hardest to pick out, this would be it. For the most part, they don't seem to show any particular traits, aside from fondness for family/children. I haven't encountered many ones that are very sensitive at all.
Leo: I've known loads of these, and seen all the good and the bad. Warm, funny, and self-confident for the nice ones, and moody and arrogant for the unpleasant ones.
Virgo: I never knew many Virgos for a long time, but now I've been landed with several of late. Despite their reputation, they don't seem whiny or critical. There is a tendancy towards analytical behaviour with them, trying to be precise... but I'd say they're as difficult to pick out as Cancerians.
Libra: I met several of them last year. They seem quite pleasant and fond of beautiful things, and they've admitted to the 'weighing things up' behaviour too. I've known other ones who've been terribly self-centred though.
Scorpio: Ooh, I like these, though I haven't met many. They're dark and intense characters with a strong drive within them. I do get the impression that you shouldn't mess with them, which wards off others, but I quite enjoy their company and they don't intimidate me.
Sagittarius: Yes, I am one, but I rarely encounter others. From the few others I have known (most of which are on this site- you know who you are ;)), they seem to be able to put a smile on anyone's face, and I find them terribly likable. They lay things out very straight when they talk, too (yes, you know what I mean, now I've probably put a smile on your face :p). No vagueness to be found here.
Aquarius: No two are the same. They all act differently to each other, though they all share a similar humanitarian streak that shows up in different forms. One of them has been attracted to me before.
Pisces: I haven't met many of these either, but they're usually nice. They are generally caring. Some think deeply into things too, and some are dreamers.

So who do I favour? Mmm, Gemini's and a lone Aquarian have been the only ones to show interest in me, and I am usually interested in those who show interest in me... Leo's and Sagi's have an interesting sense of warmth and power about them though, and I love that. Librans have a pleasant and secure aura floating around them too. Just as long as it's someone who doesn't keep yelling at me and doing things thoughtlessly all the time. :shaker: Still, I'll see what ends up happening. :whatmewor

I find that these things are rarely as straightforward as people sometimes like to think, as there's all sorts of other factors - Moon, ascendant, venus, mars etc - as well, aren't there. I'm on the Scorpio/Sag boundary, and so I rarely find that things are as clear-cut as the descriptions of either like to make out. I can see aspects of myself in both. I don't think there's anyone that I don't get on with just because of astrological factors; I, of course, like everyone.

I agree with this but I personally find Aries aggressiveness attractive. I like how they're not afraid of anyone or anything- they'll kick some ass for sure!:hahugh: This is, of course, as long as they're not TOO aggressive. Everything in moderation.
