what ever happened to that?

I remember back when I first joined MW- there was a class on kitchen witchery that was nearly finished so i couldn't join.... when i talked to the person- they said that they were going to do the class again.... now they're gone and I don't even know who it was to begin with....

I'd like to see a kitchen witchery class..... I'm about to start a kitchen remodel and i'd loooove to be able to further my knowledge!!

anyone want to start a class for lil' ol me?
I'd be more than willing to help set it up and come up with ideas... I just obviously don't know enough to run the class myself- or i wouldn't be asking someone else to teach... lol

anywho... I'd love to see it and i'm sure others would too...

Do I mis understand? I don't see anyone offering to teach a Kitchen Witchery class. Did I miss something? If there is a class accepting students, I would love to join in.

no- there is no one offering this class.

my original post was ASKING if anyone was going to do a kitchen witch class.

The person that was doing the class before has limited internet so the class is unavailable.

I would love to do a class- since i'm mid-way through a kitchen remodel... but there is nobody doing the class.

sorry

*sigh*

I might try to come up with a class.... i'm new and wanting to take a class- but i think i could pull it off..... theres enough info out there....

i will think about it.... since theres so much intrest- but i would really love to see someone else teach- that has a lot of experience!

I'm a hedgewitch (pagan 13 years, hedgie for 5) but have some experience with kitchen craft, mostly in culinary herbs, magickal and ritual kitchen tools, basic food magick, altered states while cooking, beginner level recipes, creating sacred space in a kitchen, kitchen & food safety, hearth folklore ... I'd be happy to help you teach a class if that would be possible, dunno if I'd have the time and everything needed to teach one myself but I could certainly co-teach. Unless you guys wanted to give me a month or two to get properly organized.

Edit: Unless a real kitchen or hearth witch comes along lol

Cool! Now all we need is somebody else to help too! Is there another forum where we can put out a call for a teacher? We gots lots of students! :hehehehe: We're halfway to a class!

Hmm we could ask in the kitchenwitch & greenwitch section and maybe in the ask an Elder section. ... as I said if we can't find anyone else to help or teach it entirely, I could do it myself, just not for oh, 4 to 6 weeks. As I'm relocating my kennel, stables ... well the whole freaking homestead, plus I just got my website up and running.
Fortunately much of it would just be organizing my notes and turning them into proper lessons. Something I've been planning on doing for my website anyways. Either way I will put the hearth craft stuff higher up on my to do list. :)

Edit: Should mention that if I was teaching such a class, or acting as the "head" co-teacher, it would be more of a hearthcraft rather than kitchencraft class. What does that mean? Kitchen witchery with home/cottage witchery and a dash of green/garden witchery as well. because well, I'm a hedgewitch :) It also would only slightly touch on a Wiccan style, as I haven't been Wiccan in a decade, it would be more traditional witchcraft & eclectic based. I'm also the kind of teacher who teaches and helps you to teach yourself, rather than just hand over info.

Looks like we got approved. We are just waiting for the subforum to be made up for the class :)
