Barefeet, lost shoes and outgrown shoes in a dream?

This theme kept popping up in my dreams last night. Normally I don't pay too much attention to my dreams, because I don't usually remember them at all. But these were weird- one time I was on a ride at Disney and was nervous they were going to kick me off because I had no shoes on. Another time I was riding a big Wheel away from a friends house and realized I left my shoes there (I was an adult) and then I had a dream abotu having to get new shoes for my kids.

I am thinking along the lines of feeling left behind, unprotected or amybe vulnerable. Am I on the right track?

Interesting that both of the first dreams had rides in them too.
Id say the same as you, its kind of like forgetting to put your clothes on..
Maybe related to sex in a way too.. cos.. dont think Im wierd.. but I think shoes are very sexual..

I agree with the concept of being naked but I'm also getting that the shoe connection is similar to losing your footing, feeling insecure. You mentioned having fear that you'd be kicked off the ride for being barefoot.....I'm getting that you might be feeling some sense of inadequacy in some area of your life, as if you're not on solid ground and fear losing something because of that......possibly related to career or motherhood issues. You're also dreaming about rides and a Big Wheel, which represent movement and travel to me or a connection with your own childhood. Are you thinking about going to work, changing jobs or otherwise taking on new responsibilities? You might also have concerns about your kids being adequately taken care of. Let me know what you think.
