I've always wanted to do a real labyrinth and we planned to do one here once, but it never came to be. Here is a neat online version of one: http://www.womensmysteries.com/
Have you ever traveled a real-life one?

I love labyrinths. My family got to walk one of the really big canvas ones a few years ago, but I would love to walk a permanent one out-of-doors. I think one of the churches near here has one, I'll have to check on it and maybe this summer the girls and I can go and do that early in the morning or late in the evening (when it's not so hot outside).
I couldn't find the labyrinth on the site you linked to.

The Interfaith Center in the college town about an hour away from my home town has a permanent outdoor labyrinth. I loved walking it...it was so peaceful and it felt so simple but so powerful. I think what I loved most about it was that, with the spiralling in and out, there really was no "point". There wasn't a goal, or a prize, no time trials or points for style. It was about process rather than product, and I loved that. Just doing something for the simple joy found in the doing of it.

I was invited with a couple of students , to walk a full scale ,
forty two foot , reproduction of the Chartres Labyrinth , in
the woods in Oregon , on top of a hill , with a vast panorama...
It was created from pounded soil , and stones , and took an
hour to walk , when done slowly...
When focused inwardly to the center , then opening to the
panorama , was a most interesting experience...then walking
back out...I used a rune chant , while traveling the circuits...
Transformative ? Just a little.........
