I actually heard it on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation... which is like NPR in the US... the above citation was just the first print source I ran accross.

If he really did say those things it is 'curious' to say the least.
Having said that, the description he gives of what aliens look like is incredibly vague and you would imagine that someone of his standing and stature in the NASA community would have probed a bit deeper if he'd been told such things.

here is the actual radio show, this will clear up any doubts as to whether or not DR Mitchel said those things.. He has been speaking up for years now and in the interview he mentions about how other nations such as France, Mexico, and Denmark have publicly acknowledged this and opened up their files..

no, especially not one of the most respected scientists of our day.

Dr Mitchell in fact did mention that some nations do not impose an embargo on the truth and they openly acknowledge their existance to the world.

I will find the link, but I remember reading where Mexico has declassified its data and is putting pressure on America to do the same, to finally come forward and aknowledge the existance and contact of other life forms.

the danger in this however is that such a disclosure would be in conflict with certain other goings on, like Psychotronics or... well... just use your discretion when you do the research.

there are plenty of actual footages in youtube, even the mexican military has came forward with some of their films.
