The woman who made the headlines last week for cloning her dead dog is really someone else. Bernann McKinneyis was wanted by UK police for a abduction of a Mormon and forcing him to be her sex slave in 1977. Born Joyce Bernann McKinney she escaped trial and went back to the USA.

It was not until she appeared on TV with the cloned puppies did people recognise as who she was.

Yet "It now appears Joyce McKinney may have escaped justice in the long-ago British case also. London police told the AP they have consigned the case to the history books because of its age and will not seek McKinney's extradition."

What a very unique person... I feel pity for the man who has gone so long without justice being served. I mean, honestly, on the run for that long?

:wtf: I saw this in the news. What a bizarre twist to the story.

And does anyone else think, ya know, if she knew about all this stuff which she clearly did...maybe going on international TV and other media might not have been the best idea? *smacks forehead on desk*
