Hi, I would like to ask some questions on Shamanism. My husband is the one studying Shamanism. My first question is who is warshaw, (I know this is misspelled, but it sounds close to it) Is this a spirit guide or a God?

My second question: When he is healing a person, he reaches with one hand to the sky, like he is getting something, he says that this is what he was taught and that he is suppose to get healing or what ever the spirits feels like giving to him for that person healing. Is this true? I have millions more, but this will do. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

shamanism isnt a path you pick. its the path that picks you. imo you cannot learn shamanism. either you are called, than its a vocation. than you may learn some techniques, but basically you are or are not a shaman.

why dont you ask your husband though ?

The human hands absorbes pranic energy from the heavens & then you use your hand to run the energy back into the person you are healing. Not just shamanic healing but hands of light , faith healing & Reicki. You use your mind to control it.

When I heal, I usually visualize a white light pouring down from the universe [or at times from the Goddess], entering me, and flowing through me into my hand[s] and out into the person or area needing healing. This is probably similar to his way of healing, so it would make sense that he would feel the urge to reach upward while healing.
