Some dude sees Jesus' face on the back of a moth

I don't know, man. I can see a face, but it's just a dude with a beard. Could be Jesus, could be Osama Bin Laden. Could be my ex-husband, or my yoga instructor.

You know, every time i hear one of these stories, it makes me think of a Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds song, "Mercy Seat"

and for the record, i don't see Jesus, in fact I really don't see any face at all. I guess my imagination is sadly lacking!

Seriously, how do these things make the news? What do they do, call the news people up and say, "HEY, I MADE A GRILLED CHEESE THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE JESUS!" and then the news crews are like, "We're on our way!!!!"? What the heck.

What I REALLY should have done was hold on to it until the news people didn't have anything interesting to report, then called it "Mary," or "the ghost of Mother Theresa," and notified all the local news crews. I remember a few years ago The Witches' Voice (http://www.witchvox.com/) had a photo of a moth with a goddess on it. Of course, it was a very abstract goddess, and there are probably a lot of moths with that image.

I think Jesus and God are everywhere, kinda like Santa Clause. They see you when you're sleeping. They know when you're awake... They KNOW when you've been BAD or GOOD so you better be GOOD for goodness sake!8O

This story reminds me of another story. This guy swears that the image of jesus was on his dogs butt. I got to be honest though, it seriously did. Id post the pic but I don't want to derail the thread.

I know a lot of people would poke fun at this, and generally I would be one of them, but look at it this way. As pagans we see the signs of our faith everywhere in trees, the feel of the breeze, the smiling way flowers seem to bloom. And for me I take comfort in these constant wonderful and miraculous reminders. So if this man see a sign in a moth is it really that different? Faith, in all its forms is a wonderful thing, so while to me the figure on the moth looks more like Rob Zombie than Jesus :lol:, well that does not make it any less wonderful to him and others of the christian faith.

And honestly people with so much negative stuff on the news they need a puff peace, something with out death and violence in it to make watching the new bearable! :smile:
