Ivy has developed instructions for students on using Moodle - the program we are going to use fully for CoT when all the bugs are worked out.

She has put a good deal of work into this as I am having many problems myself with the new CoT. So, I wanted to note, publicly, how much I appreciate what she is doing for us.

Take it away hon! :)

Being an older not so computer savy person I can also say that I appreciate this very much. I knew dos systems inside and out because that was what we had when I went to college......:hehehehe: Perhaps I make it harder than it really is , I dunno but it is a struggle to me.

Ivy, your lesson was very easy to follow! It was easily understood and had good detail! Thanks again!

Yes, I felt she did a very good start by trying to further get to know her students and has helped by giving some instructions on how to use the system. good job Ivy

Thanks, y'all! :hehehehe:

I'll be posting a couple PDF sheets tonight, for those students who are having a difficult time with the moodle system. :)

Hello, I have registered for the CoT on Moodle, and just wanted to let you know of a little bug that I have discovered.

Most of the time when I click on the "Site News" or the "MW CoT Forum" I get an error message that says "You do not have the permission to view discussions in this forum."

And then once in a while it lets me view the forums. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be able to see them yet or not, so I thought I would send this out and let you know anyways.

Also, my username on Moodle is Aeryn Falrae. I signed up for this MW account a few years ago and I don't use this username in general anymore. I hope that's okay.

Looking forward to seeing some classes start. Thank you!

Very helpful, but I can't figure out how to drop a class. The FAQ says to notify the teacher if you plan to drop a class, and I've done that, but how do I actually drop the class?
I accidentally enrolled in the "Tracing the Wheel in the Southern Hemisphere (http://circleofteaching.com/user/view.php?id=237&course=17)" class, and since I live in the northern hemisphere, it's not going to apply to me very well, lol.

If you want to unenroll in the class, and can't get ahold of the teacher, PM me (over here), and I will help you with that. Let me know your name/email/class and I will take care of it. :)

Hi Azzariah! Welcome to MW and the CoT.

We had to do a revamp of the CoT. Moodle was not working out for us. The new site will launch on September 1st. Any documents relating to Moodle will no longer be relevant.

If you have more questions about the CoT don't hesitate to ask. You can send a PM to Ivy Artemisia (http://mysticwicks.com/member.php?u=11621) (the CoT Manager) or ask here.
