An executive at energy firm E.On has sparked anger after saying that the continued high gas and electricity prices would mean "more money for us".
Is it just me or is the "executive" concerned just doing what we here in Yorkshire refer to as stating the bleeding obvious or does the Prime Minister seriously believe that is some kind of objectionable remark?

E.On are a commercial company dedicated to making profits, if you can raise the price on your product whilst maintaining the cost of production then it follows that you will make a profit - not rocket science Gordon!
Perhaps this is more embarressing to the Government as it preceded the revelation of their plans to help people with their inflated energy bills, which amounted to very little; certainly not imposing a windfall tax on the big energy companies that keep making more money out os us?!
