So when are the gas prices going to go back down to last years low levels?

They sure raise it fast, shame they dont drop it equally fast.

I want 2 dollar gas back today!

It won't go down. They'll keep it high, claiming that the profits will help to stimulate the economy.

Did you have to go do that?
You just gave them another reason to keep it high.8O
Dam.
I was getting use to the refinery blame and the crisis in Bookahan!:weirdsmil

Funny too they keep saying we need to drill more but no talk of how to refine it! :hahugh:

They claim that 52 oil rigs in the Gulf was destroyed & 36 damaged by the hurrican as well as the Texas rifiners out of service. That will keep the gas prices up. Any exscuse they can think of.

For some crazy reason, without the use of an apostrophe in the title, I came in here looking for really nice essential oils on sale for $70/fl oz. Like Moroccan Rose absolute or something.

I have no faith that the oil per barrel price will ever again reflect the retail price at the pumps. Crooks, the lot of them.

I am going to dissagree, according to Buisnessweek, the days of high gas prices and record profits for big oil are over. All thanks to the stock market crash which has investors shying away from oil.

Gas here in NJ is at $2.95 a gallon and expected to fall further.

Bad news for big oil, GOOD news for us!

The era of sky-high oil prices and record oil company profits could be over—for now.

That's because stock market panic is spreading to the oil market. Oil prices sank to their lowest level in 13 months on Oct. 10 as worldwide investor uncertainty grew. Light, sweet crude for November delivery fell $8.89 per barrel, or 10%, to settle at $77.70 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, or Nymex (CME). Oil has lost 47% since hitting a record $147.27 on July 11.

I hope we at least see $2.50 a gallon,
