In Warminster, PA, just twenty miles north of Philadelphia, a modern-day witch-hunt is emerging. Local resident Rick Fire, a licensed social worker, recently had his home rezoned to allow for limited grief counseling. This seemingly innocuous request has rallied around 70 residents of Warminster to protest the rezoning. The reason? Fire's involvement with the Pagan-friendly interfaith church Ecumenicon Fellowship.

Is there some news or something to back up the story based on some petition and blog site that any yahoo can make up?

I cant find a 'news' source. Since this is a hot topic, wouldn't someone pick it up to at least verify?

BTW - Wildhunt.org is a pretty reliable source. They always link their stories to the news sources that they come from.

Ok now I can biotch!
Bullsticks and dam.
Leave the guy be. If you dont want his services, dont go by him. The end.
And the worried about kids waiting for the bus by the Rev's house? LAMO
Dont poison your kids with your irrational fears!

As for the ordinances...I still don't get how anyone can tell the owner of a home that they cant have a small business or whatever in their home!! That really burns me.

Hahaha. Foolish Pennsylvanians...they should go back to making their unpasteurized milk.
(Yes, I'm being facetious to lighten the mood) :p

In seriousness, though, this is pretty stupid. The protesters are being assholes, really. I mean, they are fully within their rights to protest, but they're going beyond that, which makes them assholes. XD

Okay, so where is the more recent article letting us know how the appeal went?

Since they were given 30 days to file an appeal, and the article is more than 30 days old, isn't the online petition a little pointless at this stage of the game?

Or is this just the pagan fetish ball's way of drumming up some free advertising? :rollingla

Huh. That's disturbing. I know where that is, and it's not what I would call an arch-conservative area or anything like that.
