[Know Your Rights]

My downstairs neighbor had to put her cat down today :( Everyone in the building loved her cat, and we all adore her dog, too. The poor dog is beside himself, evidently he has this little sad face, and he is the perpetually smiling dog, Sandy (the cat) and Charlois (the dog) were best friends.
It was better, in the end, as Sandy hadn't eaten in awhile, and he couldn't get up to go get food or go to the litterbox. But he's going to be a much missed member of this apartment building, the cat who would purr at a glance. *snifflies*

I hope Charlois can come to terms with the loss of his companion, it can be hard for animals to understand and deal with.
