Unable to leave offerings at water? (for Oshun and Yemaya)

What does one do if they have an offering for Oshun or Yemaya or another diety that's known to accept offerings at a riverside or by the ocean when one cannot get to a river or ocean? Does one just leave offering in nature like others?

I've heard of leaving them in a storm drain.

Where do you live that you can't get to some sort of body of water? It could be anything. A river, small stream, storm drain, a lake, a public fountain. If you truly can't get to anything, place the offering in your bathtub, and let running water flow over it for a few minutes, then take it out and leave it near a large tree, as trees draw up a great deal of water.

You can always leave them at the crossroads so Ellegua, the messenger of the Orishas, can take the message to Ochun or Yemaya.
