I seem to be having a hard time with this lately.

i'm trying really hard to be positive, but as I make my daily affimations and try to focus on that, all the negative things going on for the moment seem to pop up as I try to focus.

Am I still sending negative energy out? no matter how positive I try to think

sorry if this makes no sense :ugh:

Maybe you could try to spend a few moments with a cleansing white light meditation?

Before you do your affirmations?
also, if a negative thought or any thought comes into your mind, remain calm and do not let it distract your focus, just allow thought to fade and dissolve into nothingness as it is transmuted by light.

Focus again on your breatheing, and then resume..

Thoughts will come in while meditating, it is natural, the thing is to just let them fade and not dwell on them.

Getting upset or concerned gives those thoughts power and the less power you give those thoughts, the less they will trouble you.
