Malkuth Experiences?

I have just begun my year long Kabbalah journey. This is my first time ascending through the tree. I am taking it with John Evans. I’m reflecting on my first month in Malkuth and getting ready to fully transition into Yesod. I laugh at how naïve I was when I first began this journey.

My teacher John Evans was preparing us for Malkuth telling us that most people in their first month will either change jobs, move, or have some other huge change in their foundation. I was thinking the whole time while he was talking about that … Oh that wont’ happen to me. I love my life. I have a strong foundation. Two weeks later I made major life changing decisions and got a new job. I have transformed so much with in this month. I was finally able to recognize major blocks and cracks in my foundation and fix them. I feel the 7 directions strength and balance with in my every day. I feel like I achieved balance within all 16 elements. I have clarity like I’ve never experienced before.

I was wondering what have other people’s experiences in Malkuth been?

Hello , rawrTigress...

If one is journeying through the Qabalistic Tree , Sephiroth first ,
Malkuth is the ground zero...the "uprooting" , and "fertilization"
process...can be unsettling...It depends if one is fixated in their
physical life , and / or consciousness on the material levels...

Something I would also , myself recommend as an addition , to
see the links to the 7 / 3 ratio of the lower , and upper Sephiroth ,
is the Eight Circuitry System...the three upper Sephiroth , being
related to the Eighth level...

The neurological processes at each Sephirah , are linked hand in hand , to the manifestations in the physical dimension...

Of course...Malkuth is very...Territorial , shall we say ?

I was wondering what have other people’s experiences in Malkuth been?

It is close to impossible to make the journey without encountering sacred geometry and quantum Physics.

My experience in Malkuth nearly drove me insaine. So I had to go through it again. Sanity and the ego must be shed in order to reach what Depak Chokra talks about.. "God Consciousness" 5th Dimensional awareness..

be careful who you talk to about it, many do not even know the way because they are guided by the need to boost the ego and will claim to be all knowing when they are simply full of shit!

Shawn brings up an interesting point, Malkuth is territorial and it is here that you must give up many things. It will test you in ways you have never been tested before. But should you cross this sepiroth and find you still have your witts about you.. rinse , lather, and repeat... such is the way when going down the rabbit hole.

lol thanks i love the feedback. I have now moved into Yesod. Moving into Yesod is completely illuminating my subconscious. I was surprised to see how much I had buried in my subconscious. I am very grateful to finally bring light to these issues and release them. The first few days were hard. lol I never realized how much of my emotions I use to suppress. Moving into Yesod has made me realize how much people really do piss me off lol. I'm learning to deal with my emotions in a healthy way instead of letting them build up in my subconscious.

I am very happy I decided to take on this year long ascension process. It's one thing to read and study Kabbalah. It's another thing to experience and illuminate your tree. I understand the concepts I have been reading about more fully.

Thanks again for feed back, it's interesting to get others insight. As Dion Fortune once said, Any spirituality that isn't influenced by contemporary thought is a dead one.

It is interesting to look at the different applications of the Sefirot and their triggers to insights... I come from a more traditional stream in this area... after using Tarot for many years and looking at Kabbalah and the Sefirot I have done a year or so with Bnei Baruch, which was completely free... there I came to the understanding we are all in Malchut, the feminine- not sexual- but the spiritual will to receive... and this one tiny section of the coexisting spiritual worlds, all emmanating and interacting, with each realm having the 10 Sefirot-
The essential difference is the intention- in our Western Schools it is openly focused on developing the self and personal power(totally acceptable and an essential step towards the spiritual), in traditional teaching it is abdicating and subjugating the Ego in order to connect with others- this being that collective intent, well focused, attracts lights(Ohr Makiff) which then work at the level of As Above- so Below....
My experience is still soldly in Malchut as this is a whole realm and I have much to learn of it... starting with Sandalphon...

Of course , there are *many* ways to see the Obri / Hebrew Tree...

As well , spelling "Malchut" , or "Malkuth"...

Just to begin...via gematria..."Malchut" , would not equal 496 ,
as a word...which , in the Tradition I was taught , as well as in
the Cabbalistic Dictionary I utilize , is the value , which allows
work with the Tree , and gematria to be accomplished...

And further contemplation , and understandings to be attained...

Then...Malkuth , *may* , for *some* purposes , be seen as the
receptive pole , for a current...

There comes a time , however , where you must make "mother
earth" , "father sky" , and "father sky" , "mother earth"...

Thus , *male receptive* , *female transmittive* , as part of the
alchemical process , and marriage...

Further , an understanding of "queen of heaven" , "lord of hell"...

Then , as far as the ego...I would reverse the process you have
mentioned..."subjugating and abdicating" the ego , are a step
in the beginning to the spiritual path...perfectly fine for a part
of the process...

Yet , then there is the challenge to claim it again , yet now , to
*merge* , individual ego , with the vast ego...

"Small Countenance" , with "Vast Countenance" , so to speak...

And there are many ways to "turn on" those lights...

I am painfully limited in my knowledge of the Gematria and look forward to learning much with those steeped in learning (including you) the wisdom...

I am not sure why the centre where I am studying uses the ch for Kaf, the centre being Bnei Baruch (totally free and accessible course- Ari- Michael Laitman, PhD), Their definition of Malchut
"Lower land- the last Behina. It is called that name because assertive and firm guidance extends from her, in complete governance."

Other sources I refer to is Godwin's Cabalistic Encyclopedia and Letters of Light by Rabbi Aaron Raskin.

So, I am very much a beginner as I struggle through this whole concept. I came to it through being a Tarot reader and teaching Tarot for many years, yet realising how little I understood this amazing tool as an inner journey.

I had also found myself thrust into a leadership role in many battles against large corporations... all of which were accompanied by precognitive dreams and, though this sounds rather far fetched, night time esoteric classes with spiritual entities... it only happens before major events... rarely thank goodness.

But much of it also related in a deep way to mysteries in the tarot and spiritual teachings, being Druid, Rosicrucian, Wikka, Anthroposophy, Hermetic teaching then Kabbalah... I have often wondered whether these and other schools could also represent phases in the Sefirot?

One of the most interesting aspects I found was the Mashiach- or Messiah- for this is the time according to so many esoteric schools... the Gematria for Mashiach being equivalent to Nature... one of the primary reasons for previously hidden wisdom becoming open- we are continually taught- The Laws of Man have loopholes, the laws of Nature have none and she has a heart of stone...
a big message for those still focused on Oil, GM crops etc.

Now , as far as the word : "Malchut" , via gematria...

By gematria , there are a few points we may observe...

If we take the word , as :

Mem , Lamed , Kaf ( Kaph ) , Vav ( Waw ) Tau ( Tav )...

The values 40 , 30 , 20 , 6 , and 400...we attain 496 , as Malkuth
or Kingdom...

However , if we remove Vav , and substitute Heh ( for an "H" ) ,
we would be removing the aspect of the "Son" , and adding the
"Heh" , representing the "Mother" ( first Heh in the YHVH ) ,
or the "Daughter" ( second Heh , of YHVH )...

And , by gematria :

Mem , Lamed , Kaf ( Kaph ) , Heh , Tau , equal as follows...

40 , 30 , 20 , 5 , 400 = 495 ( +1 , -1 , allowed in gematria )...

However...now , let us check by "spelling by full name"

Thus :

Mem = 90

Lamed = 74

Kaf = 100

Vav = 12

Tau = 406

= 682

( Now , if we minus 496 , we attain 186...do check 187 ,
per Godwin , and note "lifted up"...put that together ,
with 681 , per Sepher Sephiroth , and you see the blowing
of The Trumpet...link those...and you have the "Sun" card
of the Tarot , with the children in the garden , and the herald
with the Trumpet...the new world , and the divine marriage
as Solar Regeneration...or Phoenix...)

Let us check by not using Vav = 12 , yet by using Heh = 10...

Hmmm...sum of 680...

So...this "could" represent the Daughter , rather than the Son ,
by their using Malchut...

Of course , it could be Ch = Cheth...but the value is incorrect ,
for the equation...and meaning , of "fence"...

( although there are implications to that... )

As for Malchut , using both , Vav , and Heh , in the word...501 ,
is the value , equalling "Flesh"...which is interesting , via the
"Word Made Flesh"...


Now , as far as Messiah / Meshiach = 358...

Do tell me , please how you find Nature to be that number ?

Serpent = 358

And those two linked have deep meaning...

Yet , do note by permutation , 385 , is "Physical World"...

And , 583 , is "Eleven"...the twenty two letters , as "AshBash" ,
or , the folded AlephBeth , where the "first meets the last"...

Sorry about my incorrect spelling of Mashiach, have corrected it-
there is an explanation by the Rav as to the link between the serpent and Nature but I would have to research it and then reply... nothing is seen as being anything other than an emanation from the Creative force, so nothing is 'bad' as one would be lead to believe from the Christian philosophy.

As I said before, I am only at the beginning of this complex path and really appreciate your insights in the area of the Tarot... I have had personal experiences, and everyone's experience of the esoteric is unique to them, of quite a few cards now... most, if not all, from dream/mystical experiences as that is more my nature, the study from the recognised teachings of various schools being more recent.
I would be most interested in your interpretation of the connection of the Chariot and the Tower, one of the night time insights is how, for me, to assign priority to the Minor and Major Arcana:-ie. laying the Major Arcana out in rows of 9 which then leaves the last row of three under
(1)The Magician- The Wheel of Fortune- The Sun All adding individually to 1- Masculine or Active- the right hand path
(2) The High Priestess, Justice, Judgement- the Middle Path (2)
(3) The Empress, The Hanged Man, The World- the Feminine- passive receptive (3)

I then have the Emperor- Death -which I also tend to associate with the first row
The Heirophant- Temperance- the second row
The Lovers- The Devil- the third row
The Chariot- The Tower etc etc- the first row

etc.

I have found my journey seems to follow this down and up the diagonal path... ie- the Emperor- Death- the Heirophant etc. ...at the moment my journey has been illustrating for me the start of studying Kabbalah (Chariot) and the stripping away all the things I held as valuable both to my ego and feeling self ( a very torrid journey)... the Tower

The other was the Emperor/ Death, which when it appeared in certain circumstances in a reading certainly was immoveable... ie the death of my sister after her oncologist ordered the use of a very strong medication to name but one...

I am still coming to grips with the most basic understanding of Gematria as it doesn't come in to the teachings we were given until we gained some insight into the formation of the worlds etc and the connection between all humanity.

+ And ( = 44 ) = 830

And , in Obri / Hebrew , 164 = Pillars...

So...the phrase , by Gematria...

Chariot And Tower : The Pillars = 994

Now , if I minus 519 , from 994 , it equals 475...

Now 475 , remove one , 474...

474 = Daath

Yet , even though Daath , is known as the "Abyss" ,

By a strange co-incidence your

is precisely what the Kabbalists that are involved in the centre where I have been studying are trying to do- they need a threshold number of those with sufficient intent and knowledge which can then bring about a transformation...

Another strange co-incidence on a more mundane level, but as a person with a deep connection to our friends of the Elements, is that I am battling to save a tree, believed to be up to 4,000 years old (strange in it's time frame to Moses) and genetically unique to our region-
it is my sacred tree- technically what is called a tree circle- though one tree (eucalytpus globulus ssp bicostata- where the centre has been burnt out over hundreds of years so you can enter it- the interior diameter is 10 metres with main trunks placed in the four quarters... it sits on the Southern side on a remote ridge top overlooking our small settlement... I am locked in a battle to save it from the bulldozers who want to destroy it's ridge for a wind farm construction (one cluster of 38 turbines out of several hundred we did not oppose)- we are surrounded by wind farms which are the political quick fix for quick green credits to allow the expansion of our uranium mine at Olympic dam...
I feel a strong connection to this particular range, the Razorbacks, it is one of a chain of hills that are strong energy centres- so I still have my strong connection to these natural spiritual wonders, though do not know as to whether it is right or wrong.
