Job energies

Hi all
I moved out and into an apartment with my boyfriend in the middle of August and have been looking for a job ever since. Things are starting to get somewhat desperate, so I started seeking professional help. I paid a lady to help me revamp my resume, and have been going to another place that helps young people actually find jobs (they're in contact with a bunch of different employers etc)
Anyways, I now have some really good prospects and I'm REALLY excited!!! But I'm also really nervous!!! I interview well, so I'm not concerned about that, but I really!!! need a job.
Two of my prospects are my top list choices and I'm nervous about having to decide on one if they both want to take me. One at an AWSOME! bookstore and the other at a vets office. I see the pros and cons of both, and I'd really love to take both jobs if they're offered (I have to call back about interviews tomorrow). Unfortunately working both isn't even close to reasonable.

So basically....*get a job* thoughts are infinately welcomed and appreciated.

And some advice on how to make the decision between the jobs if they both get offered would be really nice too!!! Atm it's basically coming down to which one will pay more (and that's not a huge issue because me and my bf would be fine if I was working min. wage) and I'd hate to think that a silly thing like a few extra $$ could rob me of a wonderful opportunity.

I went to an interview at the bookstore and the guy seemed really impressed with me and I get to find out for certain on Monday if they're going to take me!!
If that one doesn't come through, then I also have an official interview at the vet clinic on Wednesday. They actually don't want me to do the kennel attendant thing, instead, they're interviewing me to be a receptionist instead!! (better pay, more consistent hours, etc).
And on top of that, I get to go set up an interview at a video/music place, hopefully for Wednesday too.
So, basically, things are going GREAT so far!
I've decided that if the bookstore job is offered, I'm going to jump at it ASAP. There are too many cons on the side of the vets to wait and just hope for that job. Mostly it's transportation and the fact that there's no chance I would ever get a raise or anything. It would be a nice place to work, but also, with being a receptionist, there would be absolutely no contact with any of the animals, versus being a kennel attendant (which pays less, but meh) where I would be walking dogs and at some point would be learning simple procedures such as changing bandages and giving meds and such. THAT'S the main reason I wanted to work there.

So anyways, thanks! for the energies and keep 'em coming. Things are great so they're obviously helping!!! :boing: Wish me luck with the bookstore!

ok..so I find out tonight whether or not I got the bookstore job. SO nervous!!!!
I went in again today, and the guy hadn't made up his mind yet. (I only went in because our phone isn't working and I may not have gotten any message they might have left). And...I dunno...he looked kind of impressed that I was keeping up with it. So fingers crossed!!
Wish me luck!!! omg. . .I'm so nervous!! can't wait!!

So I got the call, and now I have to call back on Wednesday(they're closed tomorrow).
This is a GOOD thing!!! That means that I either have the job and they want to discuss hours, or they're still debating which means I'm still in the running.

Well...here's the update
I didn't get the job at the bookstore. Which sucks. . .
But I'm not TOO down about it. There are still plenty of options and I handed out another almost dozen resumes.
I went in for my interview at the vet clinic today, and I get to find out about that one sometime next week.
So keep the good vibes coming :thumbsup:
