Oh good luck working at starbucks is a fast paced enviroment but with lovely music and lovely people. Good luck really I myself used to love working there. oh bonus too on 50% percent off coffee's and drinks *yummie*:thumbsup:

Well the job interview didnt go so well. Because of school I can only work 10-15 hours a week and they said I didnt have enough availability for them. I went through with the interview dispite that and hopefully there is one lone starbucks that has a spot for that amount of hours.

Since I was already dressed like a girl and had a few resumes I went to Office Depot and Trader Joes as well and filled out apps.

Thanks everyone so much for the prayers. A small part time job before christmas would help so much.

I sympathize with you about needing a job, I'm in the same boat right now.
Lots of places are hiring for part time work for over the holidays. The only thing I can suggest is to go out and hand out hundreds of resumes EVERYWHERE!! That's what I'm doing at the moment, and I'm getting some pretty good feedback.
You might also want to check into a business to help you find work. I'm personally using Kopar at the moment, and they're really good. Get help where ever it's offered I say.

Thank you so much everyone!! Even though it probably isnt realistic Im still hopefull that Starbucks will call. Im going to hit the mall tomorrow after school and maybe walmart and target as well. I figured my little amount of hours would be a positive in looking for a job and not hinder me but I guess I was wrong.

I've been out of the loop for a while. By school do you mean university? If so check their website, they tend to favor hiring students, and there's usually a variety to choose from. There will probably be something like "Student Employment" that they can do a search on.

I havent heard back from any of them yet. :(

Yote Im going to school to be come a Phlebotomist/Lab Tech/EKG Tech. Its kinda like a vocational school but much longer.
