First of all, I'm not going to use Master of Self: A New Perspective. It sounds too new agey to me now. How about Practical Mastery?

Secondly, despite what I said in my original post, this class needs a plan, and a darned good one. I'll need as many ideas as I can get on how you view this topic and what works for you on a personal level as far as your own self-mastery goes (although that sounds like a nice starting lesson). What would you like to gain from the class? Also, if there are any volunteers for additional teachers I'll take all the help I can get.

Thirdly, I think I may have mentioned this in my original post but I want this class to be taught by you, the students, more than by myself. I am mastering what I do in my life, and I have ways of achieving success. I'd like to gift my knowledge and experience. But it is by no means the best way, the only way, or even good at all, it just works for me for the present moment. So yes, a class taught by the students. Be prepared for that if you choose to enroll.

The ultimate goal is for everybody to develop their own sense of mastery for whatever purpose, under your own principles and beliefs. I will try not to delve into metaphysics and spirituality as much as I did in the previous course, Mastery of Self. This class will be much more practical, more tangible, and more generalized. Hopefully the lessons will integrate into our everyday lives. But that is up to you students, the teachers! Consider me like the manager that gathers and organizes it all, does all the detail-oriented, mind-wrenching paperwork and then sets it into orbit. The students however will have the greatest influence on the outcome. Of course, I'll be here to get things back on track if need be. And I can smack this wooden ruler pretty hard across the wrists!

Okay, so planning phase is in action. I'll take whatever input I can get from you for the plan for this class. I'll come back with some of my own ideas later. Right now I'm late for work!
