I know it seems like Im here a lot asking for your prayers for different people. I would not ask if I didnt feel they were important.

This one makes me sick with fear.

The family that took my daughter and I in when we had no place has been a 2nd family to me since I was very small. The friend that took us in I named my daughter after. Thats how much they mean to me. We spent last thanksgiving with them and will do so again this one.

Any way recently her father, he is like a grandfather to me, he had surgery for prostate cancer. The surgery went well. But he called tonight begging the friend we live with to come fast. She just called and they are at the ER. He has a huge lump in his ankle and they are afraid that it is a blood clot.

My Father died from a blood clot so this scares me to pieces. Please, please pray that this is no big deal and everything is ok. I know there are worse things that could happen but for me blood clots are my biggest fear.

He is a good loving man and this family is the family mine never was. Im here at home and they are at the ER and this is the only thing I can think to do to help.

His name is Victor. His daughter (the friend I live with is Vickie) thats where I got Victoria from.
Please say a prayer for him. Wrap him in white lite that he is safe.

Thank you so much everyone!! He came home this morning around 6. He did have a blood clot. The Dr said it was good that it was a surface vein and not a deep vein although that doesnt make much sence to me since all veins lead to the same place.

They sent him home with blood thinners and told him to keep his aspirin and put heating pads on his foot where the lump is.

This is so not a good thing. I know Im projecting here and this is my huge issue but they sent my dad home with a blood clot in the same area and he died!! I know if Vic was at the hospital and the blood clot popped loose there isnt much they could do but this just makes me so sad and scared.

Please...please....keep that white light comming for him.

:hugz::hugz::hugz:Girlfriend, if it is a clot, they can usually give him medication to dissolve it. He may spend a few days in the hospital for this one. Maybe even in intensive care to keep a very close eye on him. Or they may just go in and take it out, if it is that big. Still giving him blood thinners after. Which means that they will have to closely monitor him for a bit and do daily, of not more often blood tests to see if his level is therapeutic.
He and you have energy for calm and for healing.

Fortunately they found the clot and are treating it, which is way better than a clot that is hidden until it starts traveling. This is also called Phlebitis and I've had it before. Sending healing energies for the clot to dissolve without sending any micro clots where they shouldn't go.

I can see where your past traumas have influenced this one. :hugz::hugz::hugz::hugz:
So, look back at the training you are now getting. Then read a little further. Sometimes home care can make the biggest difference. With Aspirin AND blood thinners, it appears that they are trying to bust this clot up good.
So, if he complains of pain higher than the clot, if there is redness or more swelling at the clot site or above, if he becomes even slightly short of breath[since he should be resting with his leg up] get him to an ER immediately. He should go by ambulance and his recent history and meds should go with him. The 911 people need a complete history of his blood clot, so make sure the dispatcher knows this. It gets them there faster.
GO girl! put your training to use! It's a learning experience, and a way to pay things back.
It is good to have someone around that cares.

I saw his this afternoon and he looks pretty good. They have him pretty active to keep more forming. As well as a heating pad when he is resting.

The popping loose of the blood clot is the part that bothers me. I know the goal is to dissolve it but if it pops loose without being dissolved there is a probelm.

Unfortunately because of my Dad and because of my recent training it just makes it all that much more scarry when it is someone I love and I cant monitor him. I cant keep an eye on the swelling and I cant be asking him how he is feeling or if the pain has moved whenever I want. I do have his cell number and will probably end up calling.

The plus is that in general he tends to over react to situations so if there is something wrong he will call for help quickly.

Thank you so much everyone for keeping him in your prayers. As well as the ones you all sent me. If it wasnt for those I probably would have spent the night in tears instead of sitting awake watching TV waiting for a call.

I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate it.

make him drink red jasper water

Since he doesnt live with us I dont know that I would be able to get it to him. I will see him Thursday so I might be able to then, if it isnt to far away. But even then it would be a total stretch.

Thank goodness no phone calls tonight. Its almost midnight and Im praying for sleep to come and that all stays well over night. About once an hour I stop what I am doing and add a layer of white light to him

but it just occured to me....will that protect him from something inside the light? I have always seen it as protection from the outside. I think I need to rework it and have the white light running through him. Like cleansing.
