I'm looking to expand my library of herbal/spellcasting/miscellaneous relevant information books in regards to hoodoo. While almost every book I've looked at has contributed something to my knowledge, of the ones that had the most helpful info and that I actually think it's worth owning rather than just checking out at the library, I've liked "Hoodoo and Voodoo" by Jim Haskins, "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic" by Cat Yronwode, and "The Master Key System" by Charles Haanel (yes, it was recommended to me as helpful in spellcasting by a Voodoo practitioner, and it does have many helpful mental exercises even if a lot of the book is kind of badly written.) And of course, the Hyatt books when I can find anything of them.

What else here have people found to be full of good information?

Utterly Wicked by Dorothy Morrison stems along the lines and is worth the read .

Rootwork by Tayannah Lee McQuillar is good for beginners.

Charms Spells and Formulas by Ray Malbrough is okay for recipes and ideas.

I may not agree with everything that these people have written in their books but they are good for various things.

Jambalaya by Luisah Teish is an excellent book for women.

A Century of Spells by Draja Mickaharic is good to have on hand.

Garden Witchery by Ellen Dugan is good to teach one how to plan a magical garden and includes neat tidbits of info along the way too!
