Hey all,

I wasn't sure where to put this question but it seemed appropriate as the manuscript seems to be more connected with Kabbalah and ceremonialist topics.

I was just compiling and editing and finding information on some scripts I had floating around my computer from a book called: Magical Alphabets.

In my studying i came across this curious manuscript called the Virga Aurea, which apparently hangs in rome. I found a few websites but wondered if anyone had anymore information on it. I am particularly interested in the 70 alphabets at the bottom, as I have a few scripts that I have no names for and subsequently no information.

You might wanna try Virgo Aurea. It means the Golden Virgin in Latin. =)

The dictionary entries:

virgo, virginis
aureus, aurea, aureum

Nevermind: virga is also a word. It means rod or staff.
