I have noticed in folklore and stories that people summon demons and angels. I'm wondering why I never have heard of angels and demons summon people. I'm sure it is some really simple answer like they have no need to. But I was just thinking if they are powerful enough to do someone's bidding then why don't they do the reverse? Maybe we have nothingto offer them?

I know it is a silly question but I do wonder the silliest things.

They don't have to summon us... they can reach us at any given time and tell us something they think we could do without us even noticing... :) I don't believe we have nothing to offer them. Our contact with physical reality is something they are not totally familiar with and seeing us live in that is a learning experience to them, or so I think at least...

Have you ever read the Bartemaus trilogy? There was a story line in there with that idea, you may enjoy them.
