Hello,

Would anyone be interested in a class on Druidism?

I'm planning on exploring about 189 topics (which yeah is a lot!) in the areas of Tribal Tradition, Myth, Legend and Poetry, Ecopsychology, Soulwork, Divination, Healing, Magick, Shamanism and Philosophy.

If you'd like to be a part of it, sign up here!

Blessings,
Kaliel

Hey everyone,

Okay I might put something together for a class.

I'm just also going to state that I was with the New Order of Druids, but have been a little . . . . what's the word . . . I have explored a few of the Orders out there, and just don't feel myself fitting in with them. So that was why I decided to just go back to the roots of what I know Druidism to be in my heart, and to start constructing what I follow so that others who also don't feel themselves fitting into Belgian, British, Avalonian, Arthurian, Sci-Fi (no, I'm serious) or other Druid Orders out there can follow this one which is a much more open and lengthy path which stresses the consistency for learning above all other things.

Blessings,
Rhiannon

No doubt you've created something very interesting, but since you only had part of a lifetime to create it I'd be careful about claiming it's more lengthy, more devoted to learning, or more creative than traditions that have existed since before you were born. I can guarantee that no one can "finish" studying Avalonian Druidry one lifetime! And I don't know any Druids who are not lifelong learners. That's part of what Druidry is all about no matter what form of Druidry you are following. We all build on the work of those who came before, if we're doing Druidry at all.

It's really a matter of whether you need to create your own form or are suited to follow an established tradition. From the sounds of it, you needed to create your own, but we all draw out of the common well in the end, don't we.

Best of luck with your new form of Druidry and your new psychic community.

I think you need to get approval from SFS as the manager of Circle of Teaching before you can offer a class. I don't know this for a fact...but you might check with her first.

Thanks Elise,

Actually, I was just about to ask GEBS to remove the course I still have collecting dust in the CoT on MysticWicks.

Nobody is participating anymore, so there's really no point in teaching here.
