UFO researchers are claiming damage to a Lincolnshire wind farm turbine was caused by a mystery aircraft.
The turbine at Conisholme lost one 66ft (20m) blade and had another badly damaged in the early hours of Sunday.
Local ufologists said they had received many reports of activity in the area and had teams searching for clues.

Maybe they got attracted by the moving blades a bit too much.

They are not looking into it. Only the energy company and the UFO researchers are.

I was out hunting lost sheep!
Next time I'll use a boomarang, at least they come back!
I don't think the British military own anything that could survive an impact with a wind turbine that size!

Considering these are designed to not break under gale force winds, something large and heavy broke it. Wander what it was.

They also said it could have been intruder aircraft. Could be the U.S.

Something, without a doubt, went into it at some speed while it was going round.
They also said it could have been intruder aircraft. Could be the U.S. If something had flown into something that size at what must be been some speed, they'd be picking bits of it off the hillside, and no one seem to have found any bits, yet.

If any plane was to fly into that it would not remain airborne for long. The size of these blades are over 100 feet long. The ones over by Skipsea for the BP plant on the east coast are massive. So for something to shred off one blade and damage another will have to be something large.

Apparently they say that something the size & weight of a cow could have caused such damage. Well, i think there's your answer right here, don't you.

I blame cows, they seem innocent but... get them going and they are full of bovine hell fury.

I can see it now.
A herd of cows find a box of matches, start messing about and before you know it some heiffer is on the wrong end of a methane jet pack heading straight for the biggest mincing machine imaginable!
Of course the crows came along and removed all the biological evidence, as they do, and the cows ain't talking to anyone who doesn't walk on four legs!

I know how you feel, or at least my grandpa does. He took a camping trip and his spy satellite toy vanished. woke up the next morning and the government found it at roswell and nicknamed it Mogul.

Nope, Wasn't the US. We prefer to spy on our friends in the 80,000 foot range and higher. That was too low. Obviously amateurs. Im thinkin lost frisbee.

Perhaps the disturbance in the air interfered with their aircraft's flight?
