View Full Version : Meditations on the Wild God(s)

There are several things in my life right now which are pointing me in the direction of needing to explore the masculine energies in the world around me and in myself, and especially in divinity. I already know a fair deal about goddesses, especially in a wicca/witchcraft sense, and I know a good bit about my god, but when it comes to this, my interest and/or focus seems to want to drift towards the "wild god(s)" as seen in some Celtic mythology. Long story short - I tried to search for some meditation on the wild god on line but most of the results were for a book which I simply don't have the money to buy right now. Meditation is always the place where I like to start when it comes to things like this, but I have no idea what kind of meditation would be good for this kind of exploration. Like I said, I know some revolving around goddesses, but I've got nothing when it comes to gods, especially the kind my focus is shifting to. If anyone could give me any suggestions or share some meditations they've done in this area, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you as always, and blessing.

If so...all I will say , in praise of it...worth the money...
well written , great meditations , brings creative visualization
into the multi - dimensionality , and sense - uality , it deserves...
Worth the investment...can you trade in some other books , you
own , for a copy ?

No, though I do want to read that book - very very badly. I read the introduction after I started finding that I need to learn more about these things, and most definitely plan on reading it soon. I'm hoping to borrow it from my friend, though. She took it out of the local library, which I don't have a card and/or the money to get a card for. I just recent sold off all of the books that I could to get money for my school books, so everything I have left is near and dear to me or required for classes, otherwise I certainly would.

Yeah...I borrowed it from the Eugene , Oregon library...
Recommended it to my students , for visualizing descent under the
Tree , to the roots , and the Underworld...
For the Wild God...etc.
Not perfect...great for a beginning , overall...a little patience...
You should enjoy it...post , and let us know !
