This may be a silly question but...can one be drawn to Norse and Celtic pantheons and still work with the Lwa? I've been drawn to primarily Norse but also a bit of Celtic paths and I worship Cernunnos and Freya (maybe thats TMI) but I've also been drawn to the Lwa as well, primarily Ayizan. Is it advisable or even doable to work with the Lwa in this case? Are the Lwa more gods than spirits, because I've always seen them as spirits. Another issue for me is that it also feels a lot like mixing pantheons which is quite frowned in some groups though I suppose I've already broken that rule when worshiping Freya and Cernunnos. Anyways, I'm just really confused and could use any help thats offered. I'm still very new to paganism, so it feels and still haven't fully developed my path if that makes sense. So any help good or bad is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The Loa are not deities, they never claim such a status. So I feel that it is more than acceptable to pay homage to both your deities and these powerful spirits. As long as you treat them with respect, and honor them as you would your own ancestors. Ayizan in particular should be the least difficult to work with and most accepting to the idea to outside worship, she's just gentle in that way.

As Nicholas stated, Lwas are not deities and never claim to be such. So I don't see why you shouldn't honor them as Ancestors.

Why don't you just honor both sets in different contexts? As in, maybe don't mix them all up in one ritual, but you could have a ritual for the lwa and another for the Norse/Celtic deities.
I'm pretty much all Northern, but the lwa came calling for about a week this summer. It was cool, and super intense.

Some people have experiences with the lwa but are not drawn but to one or two perhaps because of circumstances in their lives. I have heard of people from different paths being drawn to one or two for periods of time and later on they realize why in like a doh moment.
To me the lwa are spirits. IMO, they are very much like dealing with the living. You form a relationship with them and they with you if both sides agree then it works like a friendship. You learn more about each other and spend time together. If you make promises you carry them thru.Trust is earned on both sides as time progresses.
Perhaps there is a lesson or something that is being brought to your attention by this lwa. Read up what you can. Decide if you wish to persue a relationship with this lwa or at least see if there is a lesson or an awareness that is being brought to your attention by the lwa.
