Do you ever get frustrated with eclectics and neo-Wiccans mixing and matching religions? It seems to be an epidemic in paganism these days, and it seems that those of us with religious integrity are in the minority, and get in trouble for trying to get these people to be more accurate with their labels. I personally have gotten in trouble for it (though, I admit, I could have been a bit nicer :p), and there was a recent thread about Wiccan gods, where the recons who spoke up got rammed. You can't really blame us for being frustrated when people who pervert our gods, now can you?
Someone should tell them to get their own gods, and to follow their own religions more accurately so they don't have to steal from ours. The way they see Aphrodite makes me cringe. She's hardly a skanky love goddess to call upon in silly love spells. Way to devalue one of the most important goddesses in the pantheon, goddess of the heavens, mother of desire, and goddess of sexual generation.
I could go on and on, but you get my point. If you have similar frustrations, take them out here ;)
