what alphabet did you choose for your runes..

I am just doing research on the different alphabets... and why did you choose them???

I chose the Elder Futhark, which is composed of twenty-four Runes. When I first came across Runes, it was the most accessible and popular and now I just have a strong connection with it because of the years I have spent reading with it.

Elder (or Germanic) Futhark... scads of information available on the Elder Futhark, significantly less on the others...

I used the Seax-Wica runic alphabet found in Bucklands big blue book (complete guide to Wicca).

When I was reading the book I had such an affiliation with the alphabet I search high and low and on the net and drove myself crazy looking for runes using this alphabet, for over a year.

Eventually I decided to stop being lazy and made my own. I find them much more accurate (for me at least) in readings than any other alphabet.

There is more of them too.
