Hey just wondering if there are any steps to get this down. What kinda of setting do I need? Tools? Meditation guides??? Also, what kind of meditation do I need to help me get in touch with my Spirit Guides? Any help would be appreciative. thanks!

I'm not really sure what you're asking- is it that you want to meet your spirit guides while astral projecting? If so, from the reading/research I've done on astral projection, all you have to do is request that they appear to you while you're projecting. They are always with you even if they are not visible. However they chose not reveal themselves unless they are really needed or unless you ask because they do not want to interfere with your personal development.

Astral projection involves visualization, meditation and practice. Lots of practice. The more you practice, the easier it is to leave your physical body.

Spirit guides, at least in my own experiences, sometimes come to you, but I have also been able to contact a guide through meditation. I have found that like totems, we seem to have both permanent guides that are with us through our lives, and temporary guides that are with us only through our dealings with certain challenges or issues.

Now is there anyone who knows anywhere where I can get meditation info, like how to finally calm myself down enough to do it. I'm naturally very high strung and usually can't quite get it down.

I understand what you mean. It can also be frustrating because you feel like you're just 'doing nothing'. Try some meditation aids like relaxing music, candles, incense, or even binaural beats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats)- these can calm you down and also help you reach trance and deeper states of meditation. Also, you might want to try a form of meditation that keeps your mind active and engaged at first, such as visualization. It keeps your attention and is a highly useful tool.

it sounds like a couple of guided meditations might help you....ones that help you take note of the seven major chakras in your body and guide you to learn how to ground yourself....guided is where someone is talking you through the meditation....good to use to learn how to focus on your body, BREATHING and reaching different states of conciousness...I have my own but I do not know where you can get some....I am sure there are many people here who know where you can get some of these tools.
