View Full Version : What do you make of this?

So I was meditating. Laying in bed, lights out, dead of night all that. I use mostly binarial beats to help my meditation/OBE attempts (none yet).
So I was doing well, besides my mind being feistier than usual focus wise- trying to go all over the place. I would guess I was in a light trance. Going well, going well.. then nothing. It's like my mind just wasn't there, and I wasn't there. The next thing I knew I was back, like I had just 'woken up' into the consciousness level I was at before with the faintest memory of backing away from some horse-man in fear right before hand. I know it sounds like it but I really don't think I was dreaming because I came back into the state of meditation, I didn't just wake up. Also when I came back I felt disconnected from my body, and when I shifted awareness back to it it was hard to feel and then very very heavy. I tried to continue with my meditative work but nothing was going over well so I called it a night.

So I got myself out of my trance-like state and looked at the clock.. turns out a few hours had gone by in this 'nothing' state.

What do you make of this? Do you think I just fell asleep (without warning) or something else?

Also, the last time I meditated intending an OBE I got to a deeper trance and could feel very light vibrations around me and felt as if something was pulling vertically on the back of my neck, like a string. I used it to slowly 'sit up' I guess but I couldn't maintain it for long. Do you think this was me sitting up with my energy body?

Sorry for all the questions. I've just been working on trying at an OBE and it's rather discouraging, especially when I don't know much about the 'before you fully project' details.

You may have been in the in between stage from which you can enter into a OBE.
