First I would like to apologise if this in the wrong place (newby)
This year I dowsed at Avebury for the first time and the power I felt was stronger than I have ever felt before. I would be interested to know if anyone else had dowsed at any acient sites.

 Merry Meet and Welcome, Wayland. Yes, this is the appropriate forum.
I haven't had the good fortune of being able to visit any ancient sites since I've been aware of how powerful they can me. I do wonder about my own backyard lately as some interesting plants and such sprung up this year, after five years of not being able to get what I planted deliberately to grow. I actually ended up with a stalk of something that looks like winter wheat!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, & assume that the 'Norfolk' in your location isn't in Virginia... :D
Please tell us about Avebury, where it's at, what makes it special, etc...
I've only dowsed for water... that was a long time ago... I was a child, & don't really remember much, except some of the grownups were 'water witching' with a forked willow stick... when I gave it a try, the stick turned of it's own volition in my hands, but none of the grownups were paying me any mind... don't remember if they hit a well near there or not...

Norfolk UK . Avebury is in England, it is the biggest stone circle in Europe, about twenty miles from Stonehenge.
