MW Tarot deck - 2009

Hey everyone, once again I am taking command of this project :lol: :) And I am hoping that by the years end we can finally get this done.

GUIDELINES

DO NOT USE COPY-RIGHTED ART!
( come up with your own interpretations of the card and express it through your art work.)
If you use stock photography make sure you know the Artist terms before use.

The Card SIZES are as follows -
Computer generated/digital images : coming soon
Handmade and scanned : 8X10 inches

Ok it is yours then :) and no deadline is set just try to get the card done as soon as you can and if for any reason you cannot complete it let me know so I can reassign it.

And as for not being a fantastic artist no worries about that we are here to have fun and be creative that is it :)

I have been waiting all day for my printer to finally get going so I could work on a project whose deadline fast approaches.


So since I had some time to kill, I worked on a card.

(I am not used to working this large, but I think she came out allright.)

Ok here it is, my take on the 7 of Cups. Nothing too spectacular, but I really like the old decks that have the reversed meanings of the cards built in with the reversed image just slightly different from the "right side up" card. So here it is, again I'm no wonderful artist but feel free to share you comments. I will send a PM with the pic file.

Look back to the first post, I think that list is up to date. I know it has been updated at least since I asked to take the 7 of Cups. So that should be what's still up for grabs. There was a link as well to all the completed cards somewhere, it might be on that first post also. Not sure.

I can't draw, but I do photography...would that be a good medium? If so I'll take a card or two. ^^

I don't remember which cards were done with photos, but I remember seeing one or two of the cards that have been submited so far were done with photographs, with a few graphics added for wording etc.

Here's a link to the images of the cards that have been done so far, this isn't the one I was thinking about however. Somewhere there was a page that had them all together as thumbnails. Anyway take a look.

Neat definitely different from the other cards that is for sure :D Thank you for doing it .

I created it using Microsoft Excel, with 3D shapes. I once got bored in May, and designed an entire house the same way! If you'd like I can do another card, that one was fun!

Edit: I'd like to do one of the Pentacles cards, if that's ok :D

Yes it is and I think I will have to contact those who had cards last assigned and see what ones are available for Major cards. And yes it can be done in pencil if you want.
