Are there any classes that are open for enrollment at the moment, or opening soon?

We have a few waiting in the wings, I believe, but we have run into a technical problem with the moodle environment. Once the forum feature is working, I know a couple teachers are working on posting their classes, and I know that I'm going to start up my Beginning Wicca/ Wicca 101 class, too.

My Spellcrafting class will start back up in July. (But Im going to suggest that people don't take them at the same time, as they both will be kind of time consuming)

I am finding the new COT a little frustrating. The old way worked well and this seems to be fraught with problems which is a shame as I really enjoyed the classes. I am signed up to a class bit nothing is happening I have PM'd the teacher and hope to get a reply.
I hope the problems will be ironed out soon as I have an idea for a class that I am working on but not sure about this moodle thing. The old way was so easy to use and to keep track of. I know the classes were very numerous the old way and I know this moodle thing is a good idea it s just so frustrating. Sorry if I have offended anyone I don't mean to.

I think we would agree with you rather than being offended. I am having a hard time figuring out how to fix issues over there. Sometimes I want to throw it out the window.

That would be a shame after all the hard work you have done but also understandable.
Maybe the old way of doing things was easier but then again nothing ventured nothing gained. If you did throw in the towel with moodle would you go back to having classes here again?

I don't think so. I like having the CoT on its own site. I would have to figure out a way to make it work over there.

I think that the CoT being away from MW will get more students interested in learning rather than signing up and quickly dropping out. It's so easy to get distracted by other things on here.

I'm currently facilitating a class on Magic and the Arts. You can join at any time, and it's a very flexible class. I was only going to give the class another month before I closed it due to lack of interest. However, I love doing this class - it's the only one of its kind that I know of. I may hold off another month or two if the forums are having technical problems. Maybe people are trying to post but can't.

If anyone can advise me how to make the class better - or how to make Moodle work better - just let me know.

Rainstorme I will be starting a divination class again not sure of the date yet due to other things going on here at the moment but if you want me too, I could let you know when it is starting.

FYI - mol has been working on the CoT for the last 5 hours. It's still not working quite right.

Sure, but if we can't get moodle to work right we'll put something else in its place that does work.

nah, he enjoys it. In fact, he's singing as he's working. He looks happy. He doesn't get to dig into code often enough anymore.

I *think* it might be fixed. I see the forum up on his screen. I couldn't get in at all before. And then I lost all of my permissions. He had a lot to fix. But I think it works. If anyone that was having problems wants to check for me I would appreciate it.

I tried signing up for the BoS Making and the Magic and the Arts classes over there, and it shows that I have signed up, but when I did, I got a message for both that the classes were "closed". I know for a fact that the BoS Making class is closed, as I got a message from the teacher. I was wondering about the Magic and the Arts class. Why would the system allow me to still have the classes show up as signed up if they are closed anyway?

Just checking (and a little confused),

Can you please PM me the exact message that you recieved for the Magic and the Arts class? I don't think I've ever heard of that happening before...

Hmm.... it's set for guest users, which I don't see for most of the other classes. Could that have anything to do with it? I thought that would enable anyone to sign up, but that's just a guess.
