Help, please!

I really could use some power MW energy headed my way.

I don't know if I've said anything about it here before, but for the last 16 months I've been doing distance education courses with Athabasca University in order to qualify for admission to the Bachelor of Education program at another university (University of
Alberta)

In January I applied to the UofA. I was taking a Canadian History course for 6 credits that was supposed to be 1 year long (September 1st to August 31st), when on May 12th I found out I was granted a conditional acceptance to the university. The condition was I needed my transcripts in by June 15th.

On May 12 I had only completed 2 out of 6 units. I worked my ass off, 8 hours a day for 5 weeks to basically do 8 months of work. I wrote my final exam this Tuesday.

Now, my exam has to be mailed from the exam center, to the university, then couriered (I paid extra for this) to the exam marker, who then has to mark it, enter the marks in the system, then send my exam to the course coordinator to confirm the mark, before my transcripts will be ready to be sent. I've paid extra for those to be couriered, as well.

The fact is, with all the mailing involved, I will not meet my deadline. I can apply for an extention, however, they won't give me one until I can give them a date as to when my transcript will be sent, and I won't know that until my exam is marked.

So. I need some "get everything done ASAP" energy, so my exam is marked by Monday, Tuesday at the latest.

Any help is really appreciated!

I'm giving it one more day. If I haven't heard anything by 3 tomorrow I'm calling the University to make sure my exam was sent for marking.

I called the University. My exam was sent for making on Friday, so the marker should have it by now. I really hope so and I hope it gets marked damned fast. The university said that once he enters my mark I can call and they can create a 'temporary final grade' that can be used to create my transcript. That process, however, usually takes about a week.

I emailed the extension reviewer and let him know I was still waiting for my final to be marked. He has given me to the end of this week to get my transcript out. So, basically there are 4 days to do what usually takes the university 10 days.

I'm gonna go puke now.

My final exam was marked, and my course mark calculated (85%, which is an A). I called the university and asked for a rush on my transcripts. The lady I talked to (who isn't even responsible for my course - the person responsible is on vacation) said she'd take my file down to records today and put a rush on my transcript. It should be ready by tomorrow, and be mailed out Friday!

This may work out after all!

Good news! I talked to Academic Records and they said that my transcript will be sent tomorrow morning! Yay! Just in time to meet my deadline. Thanks everyone! The power of MW never fails to impress me. :)
