We have seven cats and one snuck out late last night. Tigger had been missing for seven years (yes - you read right) and was returned to us in Sept 2008, injured, starved, and missing his ears.
He hasn't come home in 20 hours. We're really worried.
Positive energy please.

Oh, honey!! I am so sorry that he has wandered out on his own again. You must be worried sick! I have been in that position myself. I found one pet, and never did the other. I really hope that he returns to you unscathed this time.
I will pray for you and Tigger's safe return, and will send positive energy yours and his way for a safe reunion with you, and for him to stop with the wanderlust so that he is content just staying around the safety of your home.
:hugz:
Please keep us updated!
Blessings,
Clair

Thanks all. I'll let you know if he turns out. We're going to go back out to call him once it gets dark.

I to send hopes he returns.
I had one of ours accidentally hitch a ride to my mates work. He didnt know the cat was hiding in the truck and he left the window down.
2 weeks later the cat came walking down the driveway with a partially healed shattered shoulder blade and a lot of partially healed cuts and bruises.
Looked like he got side swiped by a car.
He is good now but has a permanent limp and crooked leg from that damaged shoulder.
Its scary now when we are not sure were Leager is.

Energy to you and your fur baby.
My cat Chole, hated being inside. I live in a tiny mid west "city" so I am not big on cats outside. She was never happy inside. I guess she had the wanderlust as she would chew screens to escape. She always came back. One day I found a basement window ajar, she chewed the screen, and I never saw her again. Broke my heart. Her sister will wander on the deck ( 6 foot high fence) but has no want to wander.
I guess I am saying, don't blame yourself. Some cats just have a bigger inner tiger and want to be out.
Still, I understand your worry, and I do pray that your sweet cat comes home. ((hugs and kitty love))

You people work FAST. Whoever you're praying to, keep it up! They are listening.
I posted. The doorbell rang. A woman was holding him. He had been stuck underneath her front step.
Then I looked at her.
Then I realized that she is my writing mentor whom I've been taking classes from and getting critiques from. SHE LIVES NEXT DOOR TO ME. And has lived there for 11 years. She has lived next door to my partner longer then I've lived here and none of us knew each other.
Tigger. He who brings people together by getting caught under stairs.

The brat is now snoring on our bed. Yup, life is back to normal.
Mission complete for him
Thank you all so much for the well wishes and thoughts. We weren't ready to lose him to something silly like him running off.
