Im waiting right now for the vet to call me back, will happen sometime this morning. Isis has torn her right ACL, and unfortunately I didnt catch it right when it happened which would be about march probably.

Anyway, I was able to take her in for her sedation xrays and they have deduced from feeling her leg while sedated and making sure it could be no other problem with the xrays that she has done a pretty good number on herself and will need surgery.

There is no way in hell that I can afford the super nice and super expensive TPLA surgery that she could get but that there is an inkling of a chance that I could afford to get the less expensive, not as invasive, just about as good other surgery that basically would reconstruct her tendon out of heavy duty suture material.

Now I have no clue what the whole thing is going to cost with post op pain meds and visits, but just for the surgery the rough quote was $1100-$1200. I'm still out of work and because my parents love me are helping me out a little every month, but its not enough to get her the surgery, I might be able to cover $1k, but then I wouldnt make rent and couldnt eat for the month.

I'm hoping, that even though they say that they dont do it, I really am hoping that they let me do some sort of a payment plan. That or my SO will pitch in and help since he loves Isis to.

I just need some good thoughts and energy for Isis as she cant really walk without pain.

Energy and fingers crossed. I hope the vet can offer a payment plan. I know it is hard for alot to do as most are self employed where I live.

I hope your fur baby feels better soon
