Aww, that's really sweet :)
(I hope Pixar did it cause they wanted to help, not to get PR)

My heart aches for her family but I am so glad she got her dying wish and she was with both of her parents when the time came.
That was very nice of Pixar to do.

They refused to comment. If they'd wanted PR, they would have gone to the newspapers saying, "See what we did!!!"
It was a sweet and beautiful thing to do. Not all mega-corporations are evil, or at the very least, not 100% of the time.

I thought that was really sweet of Pixar. My heart goes out to that poor family.

That was a good, sweet thing to do however I this is a bad economy and this is good PR. You can't say it wasn't in any way motived by profit.

I'm not really surprised, based on what I know of the company.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Colby Curtin got her final wish.
The 10-year-old girl desperately wanted to see the new Disney-Pixar movie, "Up." But the cancer-stricken girl was too sick to go to a theater.
Thanks to a family friend who got in touch with the movie studio Pixar, an employee of the Emeryville-based company arrived at Colby's home with a DVD copy of the movie, The Orange County Register reported Friday. The girl died later that night.

That is tragic but its more heart warming then any pixar film that some people still have blood in their veins and a good heart. G'wan Pixar!
