Although this is a place for a more practical reminder for those people who use hair driers (or curlers)....don't use them in the bathtub or near running water (turn off the sink until you're finished drying).
I know fools who are this stupid....

really? thats pretty sad, maybe nature got tired of us and decided that stupidity was the surefire way to trim down our numbers

Yeah, maybe I should delete my reminder and let stupidity weed them out.....
Don't mind me, just feeling cynical today....in a darkly humorous kind of way, but cynical nonetheless.

Me too. I go to school with hundreds. This girl was my age, so it's tragic, even if it was terribly stupid. I mean, people are always going on about how my brain isn't fully developed, and here's proof of that, I suppose.

how is that tragic evergreen? unless a person is mentally handicapped it doesn't take a mature adult brain to know that you should never have electronics in the water with you. she was seventeen! thats plenty old enough to know better. sure people do dumb things all the time but this transcends mere stupidity.

I shouldn't, I know, but :rollingla
Where the hell are the parents? My parents told me I'd get fried if I put anything electric near water when I was like 3.. How sad though.

Sad. Stupid but sad. I'm not this bad, even when I'm stoned.

You know, I't think it was equally stupid, but I can see more the addiction of online gaming than I can understand the addiction people seem to have to twittering. I'm not a gamer, but still...
Twittering to that extreme, well, talk about twit.
Then again, I probably shouldn't talk. I'll probably go by electrical shock, too, given my tendency to be drawn outdoors during lightning storms....possibly learn to fly in a tornado....I like my much more exciting version of stupidity better, though.:uhhuhuh:

You know, this is stupid... but I've answered my phone while I was in the shower... but the phone never goes anywhere near or underneath running water. Speaker phone on the little shelf next to the shower and not in it and I stick my head out and talk... You always have those situations when you're bathing and you get an important phone call, and I get that.
But tweeting? Hell no. Texting in general is OUT of the question, even if it's just because you could get water in the phone and ruin it.

when i first read the title, (not being very familar with twitter) my first thought for some stupid reason were those little bird whistles, i thought some kid had choked on it.
http://www.thefind.com/pets/info-bird-water-whistle
or that they had been trying to whistle under water and were unsupervised and drowned. that would have been tragic.

I don't feel sorry for her, but for the family I do. If your life is that pathetic that you can't let go of the computer long enough to take a bath then you need help. Life is too short to waste every free moment on the computer.

If the outlet had a GFI she would not have died.. it was not up to code.
If there was a GFI, she would be alive.
not that this was a good idea.

This was in another country and I'm not sure if their codes mandate that for one, and for two it's not a 100% guarantee.
Regardless, I hope she learned her lesson after following the pearly twits through heaven.
