My parents are going through a serious rough spot right now. Dad just got fired, again, after only being at this place 2 weeks. He had just finished moving in yesterday and now has a week to move out. It was one of those free apartment while you work here things.
Apparently the reason given is that he took too long on a couple jobs. We think it was just that they didn't feel like paying him the overtime. He was working 10-12 hour days getting things to where they should be, since it was only him and one other tech for the whole complex.
Now both me and my mom are worried about him. He was just starting to get into a better mood when he got this job, but he's devastated now.
And my mom needs some good thoughts too for dealing with this. They were trying an amiable separation and now he has to move back with her. The last few months have been an emotional rollercoaster for my mom (since it was my dad's decision) and now this.
So if you can send some good thoughts their way, and maybe a little luck, it will be appreciated.
