The Greek Alphabet Oracle form of divination utilizes knuckle bones and dice. This article also compares it to the I-Ching:

Certainly interesting, Freyja. It's going under my favorites *click* (just cuz I'm so obsessed when it comes to unusual forms of divination.....:D )

:) Just when I think we've found all of them, I find another! I haven't had time to read the whole thing yet but I do want to read into it further.

It seems like years ago I remember hearing something about using bones for divination. But this is the first time I've seen anything on it and how it's done. I believe the saying "Roll the bones" is where this came from when someone throws dice since they were originally made from bone or ivory. Now it's just plastic, glass, or fake fur to hang from your rear view mirror...;) I have in the past though seen dice made from various gemstones on some online roleplaying stores. I'll have to see if I can find up that site again.
