I began to find my path and my beliefs when my best friend and i did 7 doors, it opened up a new world that i had no idea about
I used to love going into visualization meditations, i could speak with spirits, guides, the god and goddess, but now i can't seem to get back there, i try to relax and bring myself into it, but i can never slip deep into my mind anymore.
does anyone have any advice or tips that will open the door for me again please?

Just an opinion, but I think you just did it too much. Try to remember the first visualization you ever did. (successfully) I'm willing to bet that it was one of the most vivid. This is because you were open. No expectations or pre-concieved notions. Maybe you've lost that.
Alternatively, try meditating at different times, with or without music or someone narrating. Maybe you're not setting a strong enough image or desire in your mind before you begin?
Good luck~

If you're having trouble with the visual, then start with another sensory modality that you're more comfortable with as a lead-in: listen to a verbal description, feel the emotional mood of the exercise and let the images come from that, let the fragrance from an incense or oil lead into the images, etc.

If you're getting stuck with one sense, just try another. It's not like "visualization" is the end-all and be-all of hypnotic and meditative techniques. Its just one tool of many you have in your kit. If that tool isn't helpful, then try something else.

I'm assuming it's one of the many variations of a plantetary visualization. I learned a version called "7 Gates". Doesn't really matter what you call it. It's a very good exercise, but sometimes I think its importance is over-rated, IMHO.

What's 7 doors?
7 doors is when you lay your head in someone's lap, they lightly rub your temples to help relax you, unstrain your muscles and slow your breathing, feel the comfort, the person with you will then say count down from 100 when you get to 90 they will tell you to stop, they will say that you have 7 doors in front of you, what do they look like, then they tell you to choose which one you like best, you open the door then describe the different places you go to and the people you find it's really fun and interesting, it's helpful to learn new things about yourself. the person will guide you along and when you have learned from that specific place and are ready to move on they will tell you to count down from 90 when u hit 80 they will ask what you see, and you go on a new adventure
