The Mystery Spot in California

I was reading a book called Supernatural California today and there was one placed mentioned as the mystery spot near Santa Cruz, where compasses don't work, trees are tilted at odd angles and gravity goes wonky there.

I wouldn't really call that paranormal since they give you the explanation right on that page and reproduce the effect in theme parks.

I can make it appear that I removed my thumb from my hand, but that isn't paranormal - and neither is this.
