Premonition

I had a premonition a few days ago, and was hoping someone here might have some insight. A fellow coven member of mine has a friend who experienced a nearly identical dream, except without the letters.

Understand that most of my premonitions are symbolic or metaphorical, so I rarely understand them completely. Anyhow, in this one, I saw an elderly man (he looked like a mage of some sort) clutching his chest (as though he was having a heart attack) and falling to the ground. He was wearing an all white robe. As he died, he gasped for air and gave small groans while scratching at the ground in front of him. The ground was dusty and without any plants. He engraved the letters “KNV M” in the ground and then died. I can take guesses at the meanings of the old man, his death, etc…but I’m puzzled by the letters. Do these particular letters mean anything to anyone??

My own interpretation if it were my own dream, which may mean nothing to you, would be to take the letters as runes since the runes often speak to me in dreams and meditation.

So, I would match them up:

K for Kenaz (enlightenment, wisdom, Freyja)
N for Nauthiz (need, protection)
V - I'd have to do a little research, but this would represent either Kenaz on its side or the Valkryies or the Vanir - gods, goddesses, strength
M for Mannaz (cooperation, perfection, application of will)

And then put together what situation in my life that these may currently apply to.

Are you working with the runes at all? Some meditation and reflection on this dream might reveal to you what the message is for you.

Like Freyja, I initially thought that the letters matched up to the runes. However, the runes were only on my mind since I just saw a thread on them in this forum. If this was my dream, I would expect the man to use the runic symbol instead of the Roman alphabet. If I had a dream like yours, I would interpret that the letters could be an acronym. Dream interpretation is so subjective though. What does your dream mean to you?

Well, I'm not sure WHAT I think it means. As for the letters... I have a friend named Kevin, and his last name begins with an M...but I don't think premonitions mispell...so I doubt it was really meant to be "KVN M". In Hebrew (although he didn't inscribe it in Hebrew, a lot of my premonitions have Jewish symbolism) it is the letters Kaph, Nun, Vav, Mem. They add up to eight.. which is Cheth, the fencing/protective lifeforce. If these cards showed up in a reading, I'd interpret it as meaning that it is time to make the connections that will bring forth future unions and accept the mysteries within myself... Does that even make sense, though? I suppose it could...almost like a final message. It came before my birthday. Maybe it was a symbol of the sixteen year old me dying and leaving an omen to the seventeen year old me? Any insights?
