Agatha is an aspect of the goddess known to the Greeks as Tyche, to the Romans as Fortuna, and to the Anglo-Saxons as Wyrd. Today - February 5th - is especially potent for fortune telling and all forms of divination.
I had no idea that these three goddesses were related until I read the above info in the daily Wilson's Almanac newsletter!
