What does it mean?

Last night I had a dream. I was in a back of a truck getting out little book or children in another car(the children looked poor) and the next thing I remember is a man talking about god in the middle of the road to use and how we should believe and the people in the truck said no and I just stared. Does this mean anything?

Well my first reaction (as always) is no it probably doesn't mean anything - but then, I think most dreams are just our subconscious playing and probably don't mean very much.

The person you need to ask is yourself - does it mean something to you? How did you feel in the dream? Were you listening attentively, or thinking the guy was nuts? Were you feeling guilty, uncomfortable, or interested? Have you recently been considering your own beliefs, or have others been trying to force beliefs on you? Have you recently been thinking about God, and if so, what God? Do you think someone is pressuring you about believing in God? Do you feel unsure about your new path?

A man in your dream can signify just that - a specific man - or it can signify men in general, or it can signify the part of yourself that is very active and forthright. My guess is this dream is, as most, a manifestation of your subconscious thoughts at play. Whether it means anything really amounts to whether it means anything to *you*.

It didn't meanmuch to me. in the dream while the man was telling about the chistian god i wasn't pay much mind to him, actuly my mind was set more on the books I was getting the children. Holding the books I walked over to the car noticing the man ( just your everyday man no one speacial) and as the others said that they are happy with the path they are taking and I stop and started at him...then i woke up to the sound of video games.

Maybe, I think, the dream is asking me if I am sure I want to be Pagan because it is a big change for me and so far nothing is holding me back.

Ah, I just read your post introducing yourself in New Pagans. Again, welcome to our forum!

Having read about your background, I think this dream is just a manifestation of your own questioning of your past religion and this new one. You may feel guilty about leaving Christianity behind, or as if someone would be upset to hear you're looking at Paganism. This isn't an easy journey!

For what it's worth, I dreamt about the Christian God and Jesus well after I was Pagan - I even dreamt about standing before Him, and He told me He forgave me for following my heart, and that it was ok.
