Scrying Mirror

I was just wondering if any of you have used a black scrying mirror and what kind of results you have got from it. I have one and used it fairly reguarly but, was just curious as to how everyone else gets on with theirs.

I use a mirror that my mom bought years ago from Home Interior Decorators. (not cheap stuff). When she was doing some redecorating about 12 years ago she gave me the mirror.

As a child, I remember staring into this mirror just to see if I can see something on the otherside. (The Alice "Through The Looking Glass" thing). Anyway, as I've gotten older, and grew into my path, this mirror has become special to me. When I wanted a scrying mirror, it was natrual for me to choose this one. It's all I use it for and had decent luck with it. I normally get a grey swirling mist and on occasion some kind of image. About 3 weeks ago, I actually saw color for the first time. It looked like to me an orange beam of sunlight through a curtain.
