I've been wanting to ask you all, is it possible that my 3 year old brother is precognative? he brings up topics or ideas, that happen in the near future, without anyone telling him or showing him them. Today he said, hey matt ( my friend who was in the car) chloe ( my cousin) is coming over this saturday. I asked him who he heard it from and he said he didn't know, he just knew... those were his exact words. Then i asked my mom and she said no one she knows told him, and she didn't for sure...
Im just wondering if its possible that my little brother is precognative, sooo many things like this have happened...

My Mom tells me I did that at three and so did my sister - from what I've read, that's the age where these sort of things, along with past like memories, tend to manifest. So, yes, I think it's totally possible.

Not only possible, but likely. I believe all children have gifts like that and are easily able to use them.

First, they're closer to the Source (Divine, All, God, what have you), and second, they don't have years of being told it's all make believe under their belt.

I agree...I think we lose more of this ability as we grow older, mainly from people telling us it's not true or possible.

I used to do stuff like that when I was a kid, too :)

When my husbands nephew was five, he started sitting in the full lotus position with his hands and fingers in a meditative pose. And he'd never seen this in movies, or anything like that.

Kids are amazing.

Yes, its pretty sad that they are corrupt in being told that these things are wierd, or wrong, or not true...

Tranquility, my son is not necessarily precognitive, but has a deeper connection tot he Universe than many people. I am reading Mountians, Meadows, and Moonbeams to him. It is by Mary Summer Rain. It explains, on a kid's level, what some of these experiences are and how that are "normal.' I can see the relief on my son's face as I read to him and he realizes he is not the only one. I would recomemend getting this book if you can and your family is receptive to it. It will be somewhat beyond a 3 yo, but you could definitely read in in 3 yowords to him, and keep it as a resource as he gets older.

Absatively Posalutely! :) I started seeing ghosts and such when I was 3, just ask my mom. She remembers it all. My twin sister and little sister did it as well. Nice thing being we never lost the abilities...gotta love supportive parents. :)

Of course it is! A child is more open for it to happen. It gets less pronounced as we grow due to being 'programmed' through to adult hood which blocks the ablility and acceptablity etc etc. My daughter (who is 6) is always coming out with similar things! :D

i also say definately
as a 3 yr old i knew things that i couldnt have know
as a 4 yr old i had a repeating dream about a car accident, it turned out to be a precog and i wish my family had listened as my dad was killed in the accident

i still have these dreams but i never seem to have pleasant ones - just horrible disaster precogs one day i hope to find a teacher who can help me to precog nice things as well lol

Yes, that's the sad thing about precogs, usually they predict disasters... and know i also realized one of the precogs my little brother had, we thought he was making them up until i realized he was teling me his dreams. He told me there was a very bloody place, and lots of people were shooting eachother and killling eachother and people were blowing up a lot.. I came to found out that he meant our war :/

It really is a shame at how skeptical the western thought has become.. anything spiritual, that you cannot see, or too deep is just wrong or not possible.. *sigh* the western thought... Now im not saying that all westerns are like this but a good percent are, one of which i'm not.

Often children are precognitive, or at least they often easily connect to that side of them. When we get older many of us tend to block out things like this... all of a sudden we need proof to believe and we need logic in our lives, and therefor we block out things that can't be explained, and things that doesn't seem to follow logical patterns.
