Dear Ones,
My cousin Mattie is a real spitfire. She ran away to marry my cousin Phil when they were 16 & they're now grandparents & still happily together.
She's fought cancer 2 times, and this is her 3rd. It seems to have spread into her spine & she had such aggressive chemo that she went into electrolyte shock & wasn't expected to survive. But she did!
After almost 3 wks in hospital, she came home & is getting a kinder, gentler chemo. I started a prayer chain from the email list of people who received Phil's progress reports & I want to expand the chain.
When you have a minute, would you please visualize Mattie getting stronger every day, being able to eat (her esophagus & digestive system are burned out from all that's happened), and the cancer dissolving? I have no scientific proof, but every day I've visualized specific things for her with the prayer chain & I swear it seemed like the next day at least some of those things happened! Need to give her that extra push of energy to heal. She's not ready to leave the planet!
And an added bonus to you: when your times seem pretty dark and your problems huge, maybe compared to what Mattie is going through, your problems aren't as huge as you thought. Remember to be grateful for the smallest things and to keep things in perspective. We're on the planet for a heartbeat & then we're gone. Use the time well & don't dwell on the negative- life's too short!
