Are there any herbs or incense I could use for healing a sore throat?

Well, I always drink tea from Linden flowers, and I put some honey in it, I am not sure it really helps the throat, but it sort of feels better anyways. :)
I'll look among my recipes to see if I can find something more efficient. :)

Oh and also tea made from sage is rather antiseptic and might work well :)
You don't have to drink it, just sort of what-ever-could-it be-called-in-english "gurgle", well you know what I mean *hopes*, sort of "washes" your mouth and throat with it... while the tea is still warm. Use two tablespoons for 1l water.
*laughs*
I am sorry my english is rather poor sometimes, well, hopefully you know what I mean. :)
Blessed be

Salt water gargles work well too.

Here's a good one for sore throats that I use...
1/2 tbsp slippery elm powder, mixed with ~ 2 tbsp of boiling water to make a paste. Disolve 1/4 cup of honey in 1 cup boiling water. Add the two mixture together & stir until everything is mixed. Take a tablespoon as needed. Refrigerate the rest. It's also good for stopping that funny little tickle in your throat...

Sometimes, I think my son just say that he has a sore throat just so he can have a tablespoon. :p

I would definitely go with the old tried-and-true tea method. :) Had a killer sore throat yesterday, had a few cups, felt much better. Plain, no milk or sugar. I think the hot water is the soothing part, and it feels clearer without milk or cream.

When I am sick I use honey in my tea instead of sugar. It sooths my throat and makes me feel better.
